Day O1: Jayapura - Wamena (L,D)
Arrive in Jayapura in the morning then take the connecting flight to Wamena by Merpati Nusantara. Arrive in Wamena, transfer to Honai Resort. After lunch at the hotel, you will be visiting Nayak Market, Waisaput, and Sinatma village. Dinner and overnight at the Honai Resort.
Day 2: Wamena (B,L,D)
After breakfast at the hotel, you will be exploring Wamena by car. Jiwika Salt Mine on Miri Mount is a one hour each way climbing to see how the local people making their own salt. You could only see them by your luck and also if it is not raining, 250 years old mummy at Sopaima, Kontilola Cave. Return to hotel for lunch box can be provided. We could also arrange the Pig Tribal Feast at one of the village at an additional surcharge US$ 125.00 per group.
Day 3: Wamena (B,L,D)
After breakfast at hotel, you will continue your tour to: Suroba village (20 minutes walk, each way), Mummy at Aikima village. Return to hotel for lunch, then visiting mount Gunung Susu to see the beautiful panoramic view of Wamena from the hill. Return and dinner at the hotel.
Day 4: Wamena - Jayapura (B)
After early breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Jayapura by Merpati Nusantara. Arrive Jayapura direct take your connecting flight to your onward destination.

    • IMPORTANT:
  • Police permit is a special permit which is required for visiting Irian Jaya. Please send two photos
    (passport size) and photocopy of passport in advance for processing. As soon as
    you enter the port of Indonesia, please fax the embarkation card (white card) with immigration
    stamp together with the page of their passport with enter stamp from Indonesia Immigration
    before arrive in Jayapura. Otherwise, they could not connect to Wamena.
  • Suggest that WMX-DJJ-WMX flight is issued by us locally due to pioneer flight.
  • Please inform to all participants who join the Wamena tour that we will issue the air ticket DJJ-WMX-DJJ, however, it is subject to weather condition and flight availability on the day of any
