A trip which will
give you an exciting experience and lots of fun.
 Day- 1 (L-D):
Arrive at Hasanuddin UJUNG PANDANG airport by morning flight then directly
depart for BIRA (adjacent to white sandy beach) village. During the 4-5
hours trip, a stop will be made at TANA-BE'RU, where the well- known PINISI
sailingboats are made. Late lunch, dinner and overnight at a simple local
lodge (if time and wheather allow, nice spot for watching sunset).
Day- 2 (B-L-D):
Depart to KAJANG, an area inhabited by a tribe who dressed in black, isolated
from the rest of BUGIS. On foot visit to the KONJO tribe in the isolated
village of TANATOA, Lunch box will be provided or late lunch in Watampone
on the way to SENGKANG. If time or weather allows, you will have an opportunity
to see the beautiful sunset at TEMPE LAKE side. A traditional BUGIS dinner
will be served. Simple accomodation. For joining 3 days/2 nights KONJO
- PINISI BOAT TOUR (SIC-005K), after lunch drive back to Ujung Pandang
for dinner and overnight at your hotel.
Day- 3 (B-L):
After an early breakfast, transfer to the sea-side to start your island
tour, visiting the island of BARRANG LOMPO inhabited by approx. 5000 people,
some of whom live as silver-smiths, producing fine filigree ornaments. After
a short sojourn, leave for the island of BONE-TAMBU, a small coral island
inhabited by approx. 250 people who make their living as fishermen. This
island is ideal for snorkeling, swimming and sunbathing. Refreshment in
the form of coconut water will be offered to you. By noon you will be back
at the boarding place in Ujung Pandang. Lunch at a Chinese Sea Food restaurant
(except on Sunday), free at leisure until time for transfer to the airport
for your next destination. For joining 6 days/5 nights South Sulawesi
Experience SIC - 005 (N): Leave SENG-KANG for MAMASA through RAPPANG,
PINRANG and POLEWALI. Dinner and overnight at Mamasa Cottage.
Day - 4 (B-L-D):
A full day tour, visiting:
the oldest tombs at TEDONG-TEDONG MINANGA.
- The oldest village on the western part of MAMASA at OSANGO.
- The Natural hot spring at KAMPUNG BUNTU KASISI and KAMPUNG
RANTE KATOAN.
On foot visit in the afternoon to:
# The typical village at TAWALIAN
# The oldest traditional house at RAMBU SERATU/RANTE BUDA.
Back to MAMASA for dinner and overnight.
Day - 5 (B-L-D):
Depart for UJUNG PANDANG and overnight. Or extended to TORAJA for a minimum
of 2 (two) nights at additional cost.
Day - 6 (B):
Free at leisure until time for transfer to the airport for your next destination. |
