Day- 1 (L-D): Medan. Arrive at Medan Polonia airport. After airport formalities, transfer to restaurant for lunch. Proceed for city sightseeing, visiting the Palace of Sultan Deli, Graet Mosque, Batik and antique centre. Dinner and overnight in Medan. Day- 2 (B-L-D): Medan-Gunung Sitoli- Teluk Dalam. Transfer to airport for departure to Gunung Sitoli, NIAS Island. Arrive at Gunung Sitoli, proceed to Teluk Dalam by jeep. On the way stop at HILISIMAETANO village. Lunch enroute. Dinner and overnight at Teluk Dalam in a rest-house, local standard. Day - 3 (B-L-D): Full day sightseeing. Breakfast at hotel. Visit BAWOMATALUWO, the biggest traditional village in the Southern part of NIAS, then on to HILIAMATANIHA, the highest located village with the climb of 88 step stairs. Lunch enroute. Proceed to the most fascinating beach of LAGUNDRI where swimming and surfing is excellent. Dinner and overnight at Teluk Dalam. Day - 4 (B-L-D): Teluk Dalam - Gunung Sitoli. Breakfast at hotel, leave for Gunung SITOLI. On the way stop at OLAYAMA village where the traditional village and ancestor statues of NIAS Northern part people are found at Foa beach. Lunch enroute. Dinner and overnight at Gunung Sitoli. Day - 5 (B): Gunung Sitoli - Medan. Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to airport for your flight to Medan. Transfer to hotel for accommodation. Day - 6 (B): Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to the airport for your next destination. |
Day-
1 (L-D): Arrive at Medan Polonia airport. After airport formalities, transfer to restaurant for lunch. Depart for Brastagi. On the way stop at PECERAN to see the BATAK KARO village. Arrive at Brastagi visit GUNDALING HILL to see the active volcanoes of Mount SIBAYAK (2094 m), and Mount SINABUNG (2450 m) then on to the local fruits market. Dinner and overnight at Brastagi. Day - 2 (B-L-D): Brastagi - Samosir Island .Breakfast at hotel, depart for Brastagi. On the way stop at the SIPISO-PISO waterfall and the Long House of BATAK SIMALUNGUN Kings lunch enroute. Arrive at Prapat, transfer by ferry to Samosir Island. Then being entertained by the Batak Vocal group. Day- 3 (B-L-D): Samosir Island - Prapat. Breakfast at hotel. Visit AMBARITA village to see the stone court where cannibalism used to take place, then on toTOMOK village to see sarcophagus of BATAK TOBA Kings. Lunch at restaurant Rest the day free for own activities. Dinner and overnight at Prapat. Day - 4 (B-L-D): Prapat - Padang Sidempuan. Breakfast at hotel. Depart for Padang Sidempuan via Sipirok. On the way stop at LUMBAN GARAGA to see the BATAK TOBA village, the rich ornamented market building of Balige, the view point of Toba Lake southern end at Sigura-gura and the sulphuric hotspring of Siria-ria. Lunch enroute. Dinner and overnight at Padang Sidempuan. Day - 5 (B-L-D): Padang Sidempuan - Bukittinggi. Breakfast at hotel. Leave for Bukittinggi through the picturesque view of Sumatera island and the villages of Minangkabau. Lunch enroute. Before reaching Bukittinggi stop at the Equator Monument in Bonjol. Dinner and overnight at Bukittinggi. Day - 6 (B-L-D): Bukit Tinggi - Maninjau Lake. Breakfast at hotel. City sightseeing of Bukittinggi visiting Fort de Kock. Sihanok Canyon, Jam Gadang (the Big Ben. Iandmark of Bukittinggi) and its local market, museum. Lunch enroute, proceed to Maninjou Lake. On the way stop at PAGARUYUNG to see the rebuilt palace of Minangkabau Kingdom where the Queen used to rule in her maternal society. LIMA KAUM traditional village and KOTA GADANG which is well-known for its silvery hand works and embroidery. Dinner and overnight at Maninjau Lake. Day- 7 (B): Bukit Tinggi - Padang. Tabing airport. Breakfast at hotel. Depart for Padang via the picturesque nature reserve of Anai valley. Arrive Padang, transfer to airport for your next destination. |
